Esker Gold Project

Project Details

Name:

Esker Gold Project

Category:

Exploration project

Year:

August, 2025

Location:

Nunavut

The Esker Gold Project hosts a historical gold occurrence first discovered in 1997 by Comaplex Minerals Corp., located east of the eastern shoreline of South Henik Lake and contiguous with the Northern Noomut claim block. Gold mineralization is found in parallel iron-carbonate altered veins within shear stockwork zones, along contacts with deformed, altered gabbros.

These mineralized structures extend for over 1 km in strike length and up to 50 m in width, and exhibit a strong district-scale induced polarization (IP) chargeability response. Historic exploration by Comaplex included ground geophysics, geological mapping, diamond drilling (18 holes), and prospecting, with most work focused on the Esker Main occurrence, where surface sampling returned up to 55.5 g/t Au.

In April 2025, Guardian Exploration staked 163.6 km² of ground covering the original Comaplex claims plus additional ground along the Z Fault, consolidating a highly prospective land position.

Historical Results of Drilling

18 diamond drill holes have been completed at Esker for a total of 3,220 metres of drilling.
